2026–2027 District Calendar & Religious Holidays Approved

At the School Committee meeting on Monday, April 6, 2026 the School Committee approved the SY27 (2026–2027) District Calendar and Religious Observations.
The first day of school for students will be Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and the tentative last day of school will be Thursday, June 17, 2027, pending any weather-related closures. Please note that the 2026–2027 school year will include the addition of a third early dismissal day, scheduled for Wednesday, December 23, 2026. Traditionally, early dismissal days have occurred only on the day before Thanksgiving and the last day of school; this additional early release allows for thoughtful planning ahead of the winter break.
