The Human Resources staff is located in the John Glenn Middle School extension. Visitors may either park in designated spots at the front of the building or in general parking behind the school. The Human Resources' entrance is at the rear of the building.

Hours of Operation:

Our general hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding State and Federal Holidays.

Gillian Chartier - Director of Human Resources

Gillian joined Bedford Public Schools in January 2022 after working 15+ years in HR at Andover Public Schools. Gillian supports the Superintendents and the District Leadership Team on all aspects of Human Resources as it relates to recruiting, motivating and retaining talented and diverse staff. She provides routine assistance to employees in interpreting and administering the benefit programs, personnel policies and procedures and collective bargaining agreements. The HR Coordinator is also the Title IX Coordinator of Section 504 for Employment.

Linda Donovan - Human Resources Coordinator

Linda came to Bedford Public Schools in August 2022 after working for several years as an Administrative Assistant with Billerica Public Schools. Linda assists the Director of Human Resources in all functions. This includes preparing reports, responding to inquiries, and performing other assignments and related work as required. Linda oversees the new staff on-boarding process and the management of all staff background checks including the CORI and SAFIS-R databases, as well as, letters of suitability. Linda also provides backup to the Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and  Assistant Superintendent, as needed.
