World Language

Welcome to the World Language Department at John Glenn Middle School!

We believe all students can learn another language and will need to participate in a global society. It is our mission to help them develop their communicative abilities and cultural awareness. In Spanish and French classes, students engage in real-world communication tasks and explore commonalities and differences among global cultures. Guided by the state and national standards, courses in the World Language Department are designed to help students gain proficiency in the skills of presentational,interpersonal and interpretive communication, as well as cultural awareness.
