Ken Norling

Kenneth Norling has been teaching in Bedford since 2002. He currently teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade Physical Education in the middle school. During his tenure he has also taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade lifeskills, 8th grade food and fitness elective, 7th grade racket sports elective and a 6th grade stay active elective.  Mr. Norling graduated from Framingham State College with B.S. in Finance. Mr. Norling worked in Boston for two years in the financial field before moving to California for ten years. While in California he earned a second undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, graduating summa cum laude. Upon completion Mr. Norling moved back to Massachusetts. Mr. Norling also has graduated from Bridgewater State College with a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology. Mr. Norling also coaches the middle school cross country team as well as the middle school track & field team.

Jackie Supprise

Jacqueline (Jackie) Supprise is excited to begin her 23rd year in Bedford Public Schools.  She is currently teaching physical education and life skills at John Glenn Middle School.  Jackie previously spent 20 years at Bedford High School.  After completing a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education at UMass Boston, Jackie earned her Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Technology in Education, then went on to Plymouth State University and earned a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Adventure Learning.  Jackie enjoys hiking, kayaking, and outdoor pursuits.  Her greatest gratification comes from helping students find enjoyment in physical activity and encouraging a lifetime of wellness.  

Libbey Beinert-Hunnewell

Libbey started teaching in Bedford in 2004 after graduating from Springfield College. She earned her Master’s Degree in Adventure Learning from Plymouth State University in 2015.  She teaches Physical Education and Health at the middle school. In addition to her teaching duties, Libbey choreographs for the spring musical at the middle school and has been the yearbook coordinator for the middle school since 2007.  Libbey is also a certified Zumba instructor. She resides in Chelmsford where she is raising two young boys.

Gregory Hinz

Gregory Hinz begins his 13th year as a teacher and first year as a Physical Education teacher at John Glenn Middle School this year. Greg spent his first 12 years as an educator at the Lyons and Donovan Elementary School in Randolph, Massachusetts, where he taught Physical Education. Greg earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Movement and Sports Science  at Springfield College. He also played baseball for the Pride. Greg completed a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Canisus College in Buffalo. Greg has over 10 years coaching  both boys and girls volleyball. Greg's wife is also a Bedford educator at Bedford High School. He and his wife are proud parents of a son named Brooks.
