School Psychologist

The school psychologist’s primary responsibility is to conduct psychological evaluations as part of the Special Education process. This includes reviewing the educationally relevant information about students; designing and administering a relevant assessment battery; preparing a written report of the findings; and summarizing assessment findings and recommending pertinent educational strategies/programming at the TEAM meeting. The psychologist also provides interpretation of psychological, psychiatric, and neurological reports to members of the TEAM as needed. Additionally,the psychologist consults with Special Education personnel on testing and students when such consultation is requested.
