Review of 2021-2024 Elementary Schools Improvement Plan

Action Steps from Improvement Plan this year include:

Staff Professional Development for surveying connections (student to student and student to staff)

Upcoming Professional Development for staff on unconscious bias in the workplace

Ongoing recognition for students who demonstrate empathy and inclusion

Identified picture books to teach about race, culture and ability

MCAS scores not as high as we would like- writing identified as an area which needs to be addressed.

6 teachers piloting Fly Five, a new social-emotional program.
