What if an iPad is damaged or stolen?

The iPads are property of Bedford Public Schools, and students/families are not authorized to perform repairs or seek repairs from third-parties. All incidents must be reported to the tech department as soon as possible to mitigate any additional damage. In case of theft, families are required to file an additional report with the Bedford Police Department.

Students and their families are financially responsibile for the iPad, case, and charging blocks/cables.

A loaner device may be provided, if available, once Bedford collects the required repair and/or replacement fees. If the iPad is insured, Bedford will issue a loaner device after the insurance company provides a statement confirming payment will be remitted to the school district.
