Class of 2020 Info

Accounts (Google & Naviance)
For seniors, google accounts are typically disabled a week after graduation. Our technology department is able to allow continued access through July 1st. If you would like to preserve or keep any of the documents on your google drive, start transferring those to a new account or download them. After Jul 1, 2020, you will no longer be able to retrieve your documents from your school accounts. Your Naviance will be available and able to be accessed until September.
All Night Graduation
We are so sad that we will not be able to provide your students with an All Night Graduation Celebration this year due to the social distancing requirements. We know that a lot of you are wondering what we will be doing with the funds we have raised for ANG 2020. As everything was shut down prior to the Fashion Show, and additional fundraising was not able to take place, there has only been a minimal amount of funds raised. Shortly, we will be offering refunds to any business or family that has donated thus far. After all refunds are processed, any remaining funds will be put toward an event celebrating the senior class, as determined by the class of 2020 officers and their advisors.
If you have any questions, please email us at Please continue to read the Monday BHSPA emails for any updates.

Collection & Retrieval of Materials
Wednesday, May 27, 2020
Tentatively scheduled for 12:30 - 4:00 pm

We have approval from the Board of Health and the town to hold our drive thru drop-off/pick-up event for the Class of 2020.  Below are the details and, for traffic and efficiency purposes, we have scheduled times alphabetically.  Please read fully the letter from our Technology Department regarding your iPad which must be returned during the drop off event on 5/27.  Also, review the list which was emailed to you for senior obligations which is everything you need to turn in on 5/27 in a bag with your name printed legibly on a piece of paper inside the bag.

Below is a list of student responsibilities for the event. You will enter from Great Road and drive to the front entrance.  After we collect and deliver materials to your car (do not get out of your car), you will drive around to the student parking lot.  Drive SLOWLY as you will be cheered on by many faculty members from Bedford High who will be parked in their cars.  You may want to have a parent or sibling drive so you can wave and take it all in.  Some of this will be filmed by Bedford TV and the Bedford Citizen.  After you drive through and see the faculty cheering section, you will exit through either Great Road or the past the town buildings.  We will have a police presence there to help with cheering and for traffic.
Student Responsibilities:
  • Collect materials identified on the senior obligations list and place in a bag (with a name label in the bag) in the trunk of your vehicle or in the back of your SUV.
  • Place a piece of paper in your front windshield on your dashboard with your last name in capital letters.
  • The student and other family member(s) in the car must wear masks for the entire duration of the drop-off/pick-up event.
  • On May 27, in the allotted time slot, students will drive up to the front of Bedford High School in the bus loop with items to turn in to BHS.  Place your car in park and do not exit your car.
  • Unlock your door or pop the trunk. A BHS employee will retrieve the items that are placed in the bag.
  • Students with last name (A-D) arrive from 12:30-1:15
  • Students with last name (E-J) arrive from 1:15-2:00
  • Students with last name (K-P) arrive between 2:00-2:45
  • Students with last name (Q-Z) arrive between 2:45-3:30
  • A BHS employee will also place a bag in either your trunk or back seat with a bag that contains your cap/gown, cumulative record and yearbook, NHS tassel, award certificate(s), letter written to future self (if applicable/available).
  • The student, when directed to do so, will drive around to the student parking lot and proceed slowly through a faculty brigade of socially distanced cars where faculty and staff members will cheer, honk, and wave to you. Please drive carefully and slowly so that you can see the faculty members. A member for the Bedford Police Department will help with traffic.
  • If a senior has not turned in all of the materials on the senior obligation list, a bill will be emailed listing the missing items and outstanding balance.
Community Service
Due to the March school closure due to Covid-19, seniors will not be expected to complete the community service expectation. Students may still submit community service hours, but the expectation of completing 20 hours will be waived. If you have hours you would still like to submit, the information and links are available here.

Parent Committee
Senior year and plans have been derailed by the pandemic, but this doesn’t mean the parents need to be sidelined in celebrating their kids. Many ideas have been floated, but things need to be vetted and organized. Thus, the BHS Parents Association has created an ad hoc committee, 2020 BHS Senior Parents Committee, to spearhead the efforts to plan ways to celebrate in addition to and separate from what BHS is already planning. The committee is co-chaired by Michelle Saber - mom of senior Ryan Knight, Lisa Warhover - mom of senior Jackson Warhover, and Lori Alper - mom of senior Jordan Alper. They welcome your feedback and involvement. Please contact them at to get involved in the committee and include your name, your cell, and your senior’s name. IMPORTANT: The committee is planning a photo project for 2020 senior parents with a deadline of May 18th. Please check the “Senior Parents (2020)” tab on the BHSPA website for more information.
There will be a reunion activity planned for Saturday, November 28, 2020.
